At the heart of the project, under the dual theme of courage and empathy, are eight intimate stories brought together into a collective experience at OASIS Immersion.
transformé is a three-step journey that leads participants to discover evocative universes inspired by real-life events. The exhibition is an invitation to view the world through the eyes of various protagonists, tapping into sight, sound, stimulus of artworks previously created for VR and adapted to in situ
Throughout its 80-minute run in three immersive rooms, transformé explores first-person accounts of grief, isolation, displacement, slavery, mental illness, the experience of losing sight and human consciousness itself. The exhibit is bilingual, and each story is captioned with excellent subtitled translations as necessary.

As Creative Lead and Interactive Director, I shaped the exhibit’s creative strategy and spearheaded the seamless adaptation of its components. Collaborating closely with Johnny Ranger, I co-developed the initial concept and supervised the transformation of several VR artworks, maintaining a deep respect for the original artists’ vision. A key highlight of my contribution was directing the integration of an interactive floor in Gallery 3, leading a team of TouchDesigner developers to craft bespoke effects that enriched audience engagement.
My role also involved conducting weekly reviews of music, flowcharts, user experience design, and visual adaptations, ensuring all elements were aligned with the creative direction. I guided the scenography team to design a spatial and visual flow that amplified the storytelling impact, navigating the unique challenge of adapting content created by remote contributors who couldn’t directly experience the exhibit. This position required a harmonious balance of technical expertise and creative vision, resulting in a deeply immersive and interactive experience.
